Born in Korea in May 1992, Yheri Kang (elley) graduated from the Department of English Literature at Sophia University in March 2016, completed the Arrangement and Composition Department at Shobi Music College in March 2018, and currently resides in Setagaya, Tokyo
Born into a musical family with a musician father, she was surrounded by music from an early age. At the age of one, she had already memorized over 100 songs, and they began playing the piano at the age of four. Throughout elementary and middle school, she was part of the choir, accompanied the choir in high school, and played guitar and vocals in the music club. In college, she was involved in an a cappella circle for four years.
Upon entering Shobi Music College, elley started studying composition, digital audio workstation (DTM), and vocals more seriously. After graduating, she is currently active as a singer-songwriter and writer. Excel in creating music and toplines using Korean, English, and Japanese—being proficient in all three languages—and are skilled in chorus arrangement.
